Jim likes the sound of Zell's laugh. It's comforting to hear something happy in the dark, and he ... well, he'd like to make Zell laugh again.

Except then he's saying he actually did see that, and Jim's a little embarrassed. That was not their finest hour. ]

We, uh, didn't think it all the way through.

[ Jim shrugs, one shouldered. Zell should be familiar with Jim's planning abilities by now. ]

I wish you had, too, though. [ Was it messed up to be glad someone was here? Jim thinks it probably is, but he can't really help it. ]
